As a leading online market research company we help industry understand online and offline trends and patterns. We operate an Internet research panel with over 2 million members, the largest continuously measured consumer panel of its kind.

TV networks use rating services that collect data from sample populations to determine the most watched programs; then they decide which shows and commercials to air. Similarly, businesses and media organizations rely on services like OpinionSquare to understand how people view and interact with content on the Internet and the TV. OpinionSquare panelists help influence the content and services that are available on the Internet and offline as well.

We invite our members to take online surveys designed to help companies understand their attitudes and interests on a wide variety of topics - not necessarily related to their Internet activities. OpinionSquare members have the opportunity to help companies in the financial services, consumer products, travel, health care, automotive, retail and other industries. Participation in surveys is optional.

In order to participate in this research community, members install software which tracks Internet activity, allowing us to target the surveys we send and, when combined with other members' data, create research reports on Internet trends and e-commerce activities. These results are regularly quoted by leading news organizations such as MSNBC, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Fox News, etc.

We also ask that members authorize us to collect information about their TV viewing habits (including data such as the channels and programs they watch and record and the on-demand programming they order) directly from their TV service provider on their behalf. We will use this information, together with the other information we collect about our panelists to further enhance our understanding of how members use and interact with these services.

Our research reports NEVER contain personally identifiable information.

Moreover, as a research organization, our goal is to understand members’ browsing and buying habits - not influence them. To that end, we do not advertise on our site, nor do we use any personal information that you provide us to advertise or market products or services to you.
